Amanda Bacchus-Morris, MD, MPH leads the team here at AMG Aesthetics. At AMG Medical, Dr. Bacchus-Morris works alongside her husband, Dr. Gerald Morris, providing a holistic, functional approach to primary care in Tucson. On this side of the practice, Dr. Bacchus-Morris applies this framework of holistic care to our menu of aesthetic treatments designed to help you feel good from the inside out.
Dr. Bacchus-Morris personally interacts with every patient who schedules a consultation at AMG Aesthetics. She believes that aesthetic care should begin with the same foundation as any other medical procedure and will include a comprehensive care plan to help you achieve your treatment goals. Bringing her expertise as a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Obesity Medicine, as well as Board Certification in Aesthetics, Dr. Bacchus-Morris provides unique insight to help each patient make the best decisions for their health, wellness, and beauty.
Training and Background
Originally from the Caribbean island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Dr. Bacchus-Morris completed her medical training at St. George’s University in Grenada, with a dual degree in medicine and a Master’s in public health. She concluded her medical school training with clinical rotations in the United Kingdom and New York.
After graduating from medical school in 2007, Dr. Bacchus-Morris completed her internal medicine residency at Seton Hall University Program – St. Michael’s Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey. After relocating to Tucson, Arizona, she began practicing as an outpatient internist and served as a clinical tutor for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Banner-University Medical Center South Campus.

As a husband-wife physician team, Dr. Amanda Bacchus-Morris and Dr. Gerald Morris are committed to the same healthy habits they share with each of their patients. At home, they’re passionate about cooking—Dr. Bacchus Morris is especially fond of gluten-free recipes—gardening, and spending lots of time outside with their two sons.

As a longtime primary care physician, Dr. Morris understands that feeling good on the outside is just as important for patients as feeling healthy on the inside.
Training and Background
Dr. Morris is a native of Jamaica and grew up on the island of St. Lucia. As the son of an accountant father and a mother with a PhD in urban and city planning, Dr. Morris has valued the pursuit of academic knowledge from an early age. He completed his undergraduate studies at St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies, and then went on to receive his medical degree and master’s in public health at the same university, graduating in 2007. He completed his internal medicine residency at the Seton Hall University Program at St Michael’s Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey.
Dr. Morris has been practicing outpatient internal medicine in the Tucson community for several years at AMG Medical. He was also a clinical tutor at the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Banner-University Medical Center South Campus. Dr. Morris’ clinical focus includes the prevention and management of complex chronic medical conditions for adults.
Outside the Office
Outside of the AMG Medical and AMG Aesthetics offices, Dr. Morris and Dr. Bacchus-Morris spend much of their time with their two sons enjoying gardening and outdoor recreation. Dr. Morris is also an avid sports enthusiast and practices martial arts to stay fit and active.
