Microneedling is a natural, anti-aging, skin rejuvenating treatment designed to initiate a natural healing response from the body to improve the skin. WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE TREATMENT PROCESS
Your treatment will begin with an initial consultation. We need to learn more about your medical history, skin concerns, and the areas you want to treat so we can confirm your treatment eligibility and design a treatment plan that’s right for you. We can treat both the face and the body during one session since the device has adjustable needles.
Different areas of the face and body require shorter or longer needles to effectively stimulate collagen growth. Once we design your treatment plan, we can proceed with your first treatment. Most patients need at least three sessions with four weeks between each for the best results. Based on your concerns, we will design a unique treatment plan with a recommended number of sessions so you can see dramatic improvements in your areas of concern.
Your Treatment
The treatment begins with the application of a numbing solution to your skin to maintain your comfort throughout the treatment process. You won’t feel any pain as the needles stamp tiny micro-channels in your skin, but you will feel a warming sensation and slight pressure. Treatment times vary based on the size of the areas and the number of areas you want to address during one session. Typically, sessions are less than one hour from start to finish.
Your Results
Once your treatment is over, you may notice that your skin feels firmer and looks tighter, but the most visible results will happen in the weeks following the treatment.
